Hassen and Yuki's home is conveniently located close to many beautiful onsen! We visited many places from there, and at the end of March, we decided to explore the Fuji Five Lakes area... But before leaving from there, have a look at Hassen's friend: those cats are in front of the door every morning and evening... and are receiving nice food, like an expensive can of crab!!

Here are some pictures of a large onsen we visited, just in front of the Fuji-san... This onsen had a large rotenburo (outdoor bath), as well as three enoki ones (wooden baths) and even a cave bath!

We then enjoyed walking (just a little) around one of the lake, and visiting an interesting bat caves - no bat was seen, due perhaps to the guidance found inside the cave!

And finally... a nice cheese fondue, on the shore of a smaller lake.
