Oze marsh field (un marais, en français) is perhaps one of the most scenic place in Japan. This field is located at 1400 meters of altitude, at the boundary between Gunma-ken and Fukushima-ken. The marsh was formed by the lava of the nearby Hiuchi-ga-take volcano, and is about 5 km long and 2 km large, making it the largest of its kind in Japan.

Oze is very visited, and therefore can be really crowded. We went there the first week-end of November with JP, Nanako & Cedric, that is the last week-end before the place was closed for winter. There was virtually nobody.

Enjoy the pictures!
