Oigami is also a very attractive place during the koyo season (basically, when the leaves are red, and all Japanese want to take pictures of the trees). In november, we visited with JP the nearby Fukiwari falls, a beautiful spot.

Oigami is located in Gunma-ken, close to the border with Tochigi-ken. Although famous for its onsen, it is seldom visited, and therefore a really nice place to enjoy, in the calm, some konyoku. We picked up this ryokan, and enjoyed a very warm day, even in the middle of the winter.

This ryokan has three outside mixed bathes, and we could have two of them just for us... They all are made with stones, and offer a nice view on the montains.

At less than 130 km from Kawagoe, this is a really nice place to soak for one afternoon, before going back home.
