There is, in Japan, an "official" season for observing the leaves falling , which indeed can be really beautiful. We therefore, Natsuko, JP and I, went to Okutama Lake to enjoy the scenery. The dam forming the lake can be reached within 2.5 hours from Tokyo, by train and then by bus. This is relatively close... and unfortunately a lot of people had the same idea! It therefore was really crowded.

However, when going further in the National Park, we reached some places on the shore of the lake (by bus), where all the people had vanished. We could enjoy really nice views alone...

But visits are not everything, and we also have to work!  JP and I had to present our work in an extremely crowded conference room (respectively 5 and 3 persons attained to our talks). I guess they all were listen to Jérôme in the other room ;)
We however managed to save the day with some sake tasting...
