Yoshino

Yoshino is a famous spot for the cherry blossom observation. Montains are litterally covered with japanese cherry trees, and a huge number of tourists come to this spot every year to enjoy the view. We visited the place in August, and it was really quiet.

The area with cherry trees is, as I said, very famous. Local autorities try to keep the area clean... but rather unsuccessfuly so far!

Here are the pitures taken in a ryokan in Yoshino. We did not overnight there - it was really expensive - but enjoyed at least the rotenburo (outside onsen), with a view on the forests.
