Kashihara-jingu is a famous shrine just south of Nara.
Since it is the tradition in Japan, we went to visit a shrine for the New Year,
and we choose this one conveniently located next to Gojo. I hoped to see a lot of Japanese women wearing traditionnal clothes... This was partially true. In fact, there was a lot of Japanese... Here is the access road and the en: But almost everybody was wearing normal clothes - so disappointing... Except some priests, which were mainly selling some new year's artefact (arrows)...
