Ueno is famous for is lake, surrounded by a park and a zoo, where people enjoy every year the cherry blossom - sakura. Check this page to see how a bunch of gaijins enjoy this traditional japanese event!

North to the park, the Tosho-gu temple is one of the oldest in Tokyo (builded in 1651). It is consacrated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, who unified Japan.

 Finally, south to Ueno is the famous Akihabara, where EVERYTHING concerning electronic can be bought. Really conveninent when you need a computer of a camera, we spent there a lot of Sundays!
