            Introduction

Nestled in the cerulean embrace of the Aegean Sea, the enchanting island of Santorini emerges like a gem from the ancient tales of Greece. This Cycladic paradise, renowned for its breathtaking sunsets and dramatic landscapes, has captivated travelers and dreamers for centuries. With its iconic whitewashed buildings cascading down the cliffs, azure-domed churches, and the shimmering expanse of the caldera, Santorini is a postcard-perfect destination that seems almost too beautiful to be real. Very popular among tourists from all around the world, Santorini also harbors a secret world beneath the waves. Scuba diving enthusiasts will take the opportunity to explore the interesting underwater scenari formed by volcanic activity: while corals and fish are in limited quatity, the underwater relief is stunning - steps, cliffs, canyons, caves - all in the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean sea.

Wall diving! Vertical walls 10-15 m high. This site is made famous by the presence of steps along the wall formed by strong volcanic activities. 1 barracuda, several nudibranchs, slightly larger fish.

Boot mooring close to island Thirasia. Lots of canyons, espeically one which is 8 m deep and 1 m large. 2-3 lion-fish, 1 lobster, 1 octopus. Lots of small fish (although with limited colors, most being black and grey). Overall good for underwater scenari, when divers enjoy being around huge rocks and walls.
