First, I want to thank the people from the shukubo, they organize everything for us, help us a lot and recommend it to everybody (see page about Shukubo)

After staying at the Shukubo, we began the way up to Haguro-san. Here a map of the site

Here begin a beautiful climb (2446 steps) up the mountain covered in gorgeous old cedar trees. There are also 33 carvings in the steps up the mountain, which are said to bring good luch to anyone who finds them.

Here sometimes you can see monks meditating, but not this day

An old wooden padoda, looks like mysterious over there.

The begining of the trek wasn't soo hard

But soon began to be harder

I will not put too many comments, just look at the picture, for me over there was like some kind of magic was present. Hard to describe, even with the pictures. I really think people must visit this place by themselves

Break time

Magic

We arrived at the top, there you can find many different building. Look at the roof of this one

Perfect weather, perfect day

And still this atmosphere all around

What this monk is looking at ?

At japanese group, I cannot understand why japanese like organized trip, perhaps they like to be with a lot of people around them.

Walking around

And never forget, Omiyage-shop
