All of us missed skiing in the Swiss - or French - Alps... Therefore, organization of a ski-trip was really necessary. We decided to go to Hokkaido, the northern island of Japan, as the best snow is often encountered there. The trip was quite long, starting with an 80-minutes flight, and followed by about 3 hours of bus. Fortunately, we were well equipped and the journey was not too boring...
The hotel was located at 50 meters of the slopes. A restaurant providing nice food was also found in the hotel. Rather convenient, as we could go directly from the slopes to the spa, then to the restaurant, and then back for some night skiing! Some pictures on the ski area : few people, good snow, not too cold (between -9°C and -2°C)... If you want to see a really good Swiss skier, look at this video of Jean-Pascal: across/Hokkaido/Hokkaido - ski poudre JP.mpeg The hotel was rather pleasant too, with of course a sento to enjoy the apres-ski...
And some pictures taken from the top of the ski field, with a view on the ocean...
